Awakening to Abundant Life: Trusting Jesus for Spiritual Vision
The original languages of verses 35-36: The Father loves the Son, and has given all (things) into his hand (so…) he who trusts/believes in the son has (Greek: Life of the Ages//Aramaic: Life of the Universe-Creation), but he who is apathetic (doesn’t feel) the son shall not (be able to) see life, but the (emotional upwelling) of God abides upon him.
We cut ourselves off from seeing spiritually when we don’t engage in what Jesus was trying to show us. Jesus is the gateway to the greater life. Jesus opens our eyes to what is really going on.
