The attributes that best describe Dave Housholder as a pastor are strong preaching, leadership development and counseling.

Pastor Housholder has 30 years of experience and is a Fulbright Scholar in New Testament.  He has been married to his bride, Wendy, since 1982, and father to his son Lars since 1988.  David also works at Concordia University in Irvine.  He teaches surfing at Newport Beach as well.  David authored four (4) books, (see his page on Amazon).  "Pastor House" as we call him, loves teaching the Bible in an informal, relaxed manor.  He breaks down the scriptures as it relates to us today, as it did then.  House enjoys hiking in the desert with Wendy and snowboarding at Big Bear in the winter.  He has done a lot of work in radio (KBRT-The Bottom Line- AM 740 from 2010 to 2013 and media.  Dave received his BA in Tacoma, WA in 1983 and his MVid in Chicago in 1988.  He did doctoral level study at the University of Bon in Germany.  He speaks fluent German and Dutch and reads Biblical Greek and Hebrew.
