Jesus’ Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem
Jesus throws down the gauntlet and rides into town to force the hand of his enemies. It’s showdown time, and there will be blood.
After Palm Sunday, there is no “going back” for Jesus. He has “crossed his Rubicon.” The chips will fall where they fall.
The Hour has come (v.34) for the Son of Man to be glorified (Daniel 7). Hour had “not yet come” at the Wedding in Cana. All authority has been giving to me (not just to be some king in Israel)
Are you willing to let Jesus ride into your life? Or do we just call on him from time to time to help us with our agenda? He will come to clean house.
